Research

Our group’s research directions are unified by a common objective: to develop predictive descriptions of transport processes across scales in functional materials and living matter. Our approach integrates ideas from fluid and solid mechanics, rheology, biophysics, and numerical analysis. To this end, we develop multiscale models and computational tools for systems governed by continuum mechanics and collaborate closely with experimental groups to test predictions, interpret observations, and uncover the underlying physicochemical mechanisms.
